UET Celebrated Christmas in one of the new buildings this year. The festivities included dance and comedy routines from each of the departments and Tommy Moose had prizes to give out. As our family continues to grow, we keep needing a bigger and bigger place to hold our parties. Our employees are a close knit group, we even had one marriage proposal. And yes, it was accepted. Angeline Lingad is employee of the Month for February 2015. She has been responsible for the development of our new Sublimation Department. Sublimation allows UET to integrate complex designs and styles to fit our customer’s needs. Angeline’s extensive knowledge of graphic design and computer skills have made her a great asset to both UET and our customers.
In an ongoing expansion driven by customer demands on our capacity, UET has purchased Cavite Socks. This adds an additional 88 144 Needle Knitting machines to our capacity at Clark. We now have a total of 268 knitting machines running 24 hours a day. With the newer complex designs our customers are asking for, UET has also purchased new Lanoti Knitting machines. Lanoti machines offer a new dimension in design and technical specs for our clients, such as Select Terry, Elongated Toe, and adds a new layer of complex designs to our capacity.
UET International Corporation joined the Clark Unity Games 2014 Sportsfest. It is an inter-locator sports competition organized to promote camaraderie and cooperation among the Clark Freeport Zone locators. We are proud to our team for doing there best in the game and for the unity they showed. Eventhough we did not make it to the top. We are proud and happy to be part of the game. We are one team!
